Madelaine Ranola CNC

Madelaine Ranola is the Clinical Nurse Consultant –Movement Disorder Services at Macquarie Neurology and Macquarie University Hospital.

Madelaine holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Neuro-Degenerative Disorders from The University of Notre Dame Australia.

Madelaine comes to us with over 17 years experience in neuroscience nursing including Spinal and Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurology.

The last ten years have focused on providing specialist Parkinson’s Disease nursing care as well as coordinating several multicentre Parkinson’s research projects.

Madelaine is passionate about increasing awareness of the complex care needs of Parkinson’s Disease and has lectured for the University of Technology Sydney Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Health.

As part of her commitment to best practice, Madelaine is an active member of the NSW branch of the Australasian Parkinson’s Nurses Network.

Promoting wellness has been a long time interest. Madelaine holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and certifications in Reiki, Shiatsu and Polarity Therapy. Her combined education, experience and training provide a strong foundation for her holistic approach to patient care.
